In the Windshield:

The PASS North Tour has invited the NELCAR Series to accompany them for 6 races in 2010. The first being at Speedway 95 on April 18th. This will be the opening race for the 2010 season of the AMSOIL NELCAR Legends Tour. More information will be posted as it is received.

Race Finish: 9th (with a flat tire)

Race Weekend Notes: Due to the previous weeks wrecks, Dan Hutchens will not be competing in this race. He has given up his ride to Kevin Hutchens to allow him to fight for the final position at the year end banquet. The day started with two rounds of practice. Kevin was visibly one of the four fastest cars on the track. The feature was scheduled to start at 3:30 but with a six hour rain delay it was pushed back to 9:30pm. With foggy and slick conditions the race started and Kevin moved up quickly to the top 4. Around lap 15 Kevin was tagged in the left rear tire going into turn one and was turned around causing a six car pile up and the first caution. For the remaining 35 laps, Kevin ran with a deflated left front tire. This was because there was not enough time to change it and keep him in contention. With a five lap shootout at the end of the race, Kevin wheeled his way through the field from 15th, to a 9th place finish out of the 22 car field.
